My name is Lorenzo. My academic background is in musicology and electronic music, therefore bringing together my passion for arts (music in particular) and technology. I currently live in Rome where I work in the field of IT and research projects.
I started having fun with computers using a BBC microcomputer which had 32K RAM and a green monochrome screen. I have always been fascinated by the potential computers hold for creativity and arts.
I am passionate about Linux, user and advocate of Free Software, open internet and technology awareness. And of course... music. I play bass and electronic music locally in Romei. I also have fun with (soft) synths.
